Master Race VS Peasant: tackling the myths one by one(r/pcmasterrace)
Switch the motherboard of the AMD build to Gigabyte GA-78LMT-USB3 instead, or the USB3.0 variant of the ASUS motherboard. Peasants will appreciate the speed of data transfer that consoles don’t.
Also slapping an NZXT Respire T20 is recommendable in the AMD build since stock coolers on AMD’s behalf is actually pretty loud.
Here’s a better AMD build for the cheap:

Reasons behind the change:
- FX-6350 only offers a mild 0.4 GHz boost over FX-6300’s clock speed for over $30 premium.
- An excellent motherboard for a cheap AMD build. USB3.0 support too!
- The R9 270 is pretty much identical to the R9 270X, albeit going in with a lighter price tag.
- The Cooler Master N200 is an awesome case for the cheap.
Or an even cheaper build:

Included a mechanical keyboard. An awesome pair of headphones and the Razer Deathadder. Mouse mat is optional but getting one can help your mouse’ feet from getting worn out. I suggest SteelSeries Qck Mass.
