Hey Cookit! I’m looking for a nice chef’s knife…(r/Cooking)

This Victorinox knife is very well-reviewed for the price, and is probably what I would buy as a sub-$100 chef’s knife.

The big brands (Wusthof, Henkels, Shun, Global, etc.) tend to run somewhere around ~$150 (give or take a bit) for their chef’s knives.

With the extra money in your price range, you could/should pick up a steel so you can keep your new knife sharp.
