Just used a $300 gift card to Bed, Bath, and Beyond to get some of my first serious kitchen stuff.(r/Cooking)

I want to say this politely, but with enough force to make sure you do it:

Return the All Clad non stick pans. Want a non stick? This is under $30 and better. Non Stick WILL wear down, and will need to be replaced. An All Clad stainless skillet (I vote 12″) will last you the rest of your life. Unless you have very strong reasons why you want non stick, get a stainless steel. And even then, if you want a non stick, don’t buy an AC non-stick. All the money you’re paying for quality won’t matter with the non stick has chipped and flaked off. Even the anodized ones don’t last that long.

I really, really don’t want to be a buzz kill, and that’s not at all my intention, but I think you’ll be happier if you go this route.
