rechargeable batteries(r/gadgets)
I’m a fan of Sanyo eneloops. They’re great for low drain devices (e.g. wireless mice and keyboards). I used to use regular NiMH batteries for my wireless mouse and keyboard, and 2500 mAh batteries would only give me about a week of use. These would keep working for months (similar performance to the performance I’d get from alkaline batteries). Like alkaline batteries, they also hold their charge for a while if they’re sitting on the shelf. No more grabbing rechargeable batteries off the shelf only to find that they’ve completely discharged. Of course, in such situations you may want to consider using alkaline batteries instead.
