What movie/tv show you can re-watch it a million times?(r/AskReddit)
Have you listed to any of the other stuff those people have made?
Alison Krauss and Union Station was the name of the band that did ~~all of~~ most of that music. You know how the band “Cream” was basically all the best musicians at their instruments in the 60’s? Well, Alison Krauss and Union Station is that for Bluegrass. Except they’re pretty much all the best that ever lived at their instruments. They just relased a new album called Paper Airplanes a year or so ago! I got to see them in concert last summer and they were absolutely out of this world!
Alison Krauss did lead female vocals and has some wonderful solo albums. I want to have sex with her voice.
Dan Tyminski wrote most of the music, and did lead guitar and vocals for “Man of Constant Sorrow”. He has a fantastic solo album called “Wheels”
Jerry Douglas did all the dobro work in O, Brother and he’s basically the God of Dobro. Think a combination of Eric Clapton, B.B. King and Jimmy Hendricks. His solo albums are also phenomianl.
There’s so much great bluegrass out there! I can give you a ton more suggestions if you’re interested!
