If you keep staring at me, I swear by my pretty floral bonnet, I will end you.(r/talesfromtechsupport)
I don’t know if I should count you as the luckiest person on planet earth, or the most unfortunate.
Luckiest: You now have ~12 hours of some of the most riveting, excellent sci-fi ever created by man to look forward to. Spread across 14 amazing episodes, and one excellent movie.
Most Unfortunate: You have not experienced it yet; and when you do, you shall taste the bitter pill of it’s end with the rest of us.
[Firefly](http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Firefly_(TV_series) is the phenominal series by Joss Whedon about a group of misfits with hearts of pure gold and their travels around their star system. Some fought on the losing side of a civil war. Others just looking to make their way in the system.
After you laugh, cry, and dream of these Browncoats, Companions, renegades, and fugitives for 14 episodes, the series ‘completes’ after a 2-hour long movie that wraps up each’s story… and you will want more. Oh so much more. A great deal more. And there will be none; you’ll be left screaming in the void, like the rest of us.
So, go to Amazon and buy it. Or, go to Netflix and watch it there. Watch the only sci-fi in recent memory to actually not have sound in space. Then, come lurk over in /r/browncoats a while, that’d be shiny.
