What BIFL items should I have in a new apartment?(r/BuyItForLife)
Some things I have in my apartment:
EZ-DUZ-IT Can opener (No problems whatsoever)
Corelle Dinnerware sets (So long as you don’t drop them, they’ll last forever)
Tramontina Cookware (It’s not All-Clad but very comparable in quality and performance at a decent price)
I would mention Pyrex food storage but it seems a lot of recent reviews have mixed feelings about them.
As everyone here mentions: Cast Iron cookware.
If you drink coffee, look into an Aeropress or French Press. Otherwise you’re just going to keep spending money on a new coffee maker.
Renters Insurance. Just get it. It will cost around $100/year and is more than worth it.
